Vermont Square Park Off-leash Hours

The VSPRC is working with the Ward 20 office and the city to restore the parks’ off-leash signs displaying the off-leash area hours that were taken down during the field renewal in 2013.

We are aware that the signs’ absence is causing much confusion, confrontation and frustration so please, until they have been replaced (when conditions allow!) share this information with your fellow off-leash companions – 2 legged and 4 😉

As always, please poop ‘ n scoop!

4 Corners Study Bathurst and Bloor

4 Corners – Bathurst and Bloor – Study Area

Follow the Bathurst-Bloor Study & take the survey on emerging study principles at

The City held a community consultation meeting on the Bathurst-Bloor study in December 2014. The meeting provided an opportunity to give City Planning your feedback on the emerging vision and draft principles for the future of the Bathurst-Bloor area.

If you were not able to attend the meeting in December, please visit the website and fill in the quick survey on the emerging principles for the study. You can also download the presentation and panels that were presented at the meeting.

The survey deadline is Jan 25 – two weeks from now. If you attended the Dec 9 meeting and provided feedback at that meeting, there is no need to complete the survey. It is simply an electronic version of the emerging principles that were presented at that meeting.

Toronto Ward Boundary Review

About the Toronto Ward Boundary Review

The Toronto Ward Boundary Review will look at the size and shape of Toronto’s wards. The Review is being undertaken to ensure that each person in Toronto is fairly represented at City Council.

A key focus of the Toronto Ward Boundary Review is to make sure the number of people in each ward is similar to all the other wards in the city.

The Review will also look at communities of interest and neighbourhoods within the city. Ward boundaries should not split up well-established communities. Other factors such as a ward’s history and physical or natural features will also be considered as part of the Review of Toronto`s ward boundaries.

There are several opportunities to attend these sessions:

Get involved

The Toronto Ward Boundary Review includes a public involvement process that allows Council members, stakeholders and the public to express their opinions on the current ward boundary structure as well as on the options that will be proposed. There are several ways that you can provide input to the Ward Boundary Review, including:

  • Attend a public meeting: The first round of public meetings for the Toronto Ward Boundary Review will occur between December 2014 and February 2015. Three meetings will be held in each Community Council area (Toronto and East York, North York, Scarborough and Etobicoke).
  • Fill out an Online Survey: Online surveys will be available in Round One and Round Two of the consultation process. In Round One the Input Survey will gather general comments about the City’s current ward boundaries. In Round Two, the Feedback Survey will gather comments on various ward boundary options. Both surveys can be accessed at
