Important Planning and Development in and around Seaton Village
1. Dupont St Study:
Notices were sent out from Municipal Planning Department concerning an upcoming consultation on Dupont St. from Ossington Ave, east to Kendal Ave
Following a Visioning Study conducted by Ryerson University in partnership with Councillors Vaughan and Laytons’ offices and local area Residents’ Associations (including the SVRA), the study aims to further gather information and recommendations for the streetscape (not land use, as it is considered stable residential) on the north side of Dupont between Kendal and Avenue, and on the south side of Dupont.
The SVRA, Annex Residents’ Association and the Tarragon Village RA have expressed concern that this study is
- Isolated to studying the north side only,
- Needs to continue and include Dupont further east to Ave Rd and
- Must include a traffic study.
The initial “kick off” meeting tonight is to get feedback from residents so that the terms of reference for the Study can be finalized
When: TONIGHT, Monday February 10th
Time: 6:00 – 9:00pm
Place: Sacre Coeur School Gym, 98 Essex St.

Also of significance is the file # 31A, B and C – 113 Walmer Rd (B0099/13TEY and 31 BandC A0937/13TEY).
